The music comes first!

Clumsy Alien Records is a Leeds-based organisation aiming to professionally record, produce, distribute and promote music for talented musicians in local communities.

We produce music for artists with minimal upfront fees, taking only a small percentage of overall sales after release. Our first priority is helping musicians to kickstart their music careers by showcasing their original material via online and physical distribution, social media and local radio stations. We don't infringe on a musician's ownership of their original music and lyrics. Our only long-term ownership consists of 20% of any revenue generated from recordings produced through us. 

One thing we do ask of our artists is that they share each other's music and help to promote fellow members of the Clumsy Alien family. We encourage our artists to support each other's live performances, share each other's social media links and generally help the progression of each other's careers.
